Tutorial - Timesheet Management - Verify Timesheets
Before timesheets show up on Payroll Reports, they must be verified by a manager. This part of the tutorial shows you how to verify these timesheets.
From the admin console, click on Employees and then on Verify Timesheets.
Choose the dates that you want to see timesheets for, and click OK.
This is the Verify Timesheets screen. This screen has alot of information, so we'll look at them one at a time.
The area in the top left shows the current Employee, and the date range we're displaying timesheets for.
This section shows the total number of timesheets the current user has within the selected date range. It also shows the grand total of hours of all the timesheets listed.
This section allows you to move from employee to employee. In our example, only one employee had timesheets for the date range we entered. If there had been more than one employee with timesheets that fit the dates, you would be able to move back and forth among the employees, and verify their timesheets without needing to access this screen over and over.
The grid in the middle shows the details for all of the timesheets for the current employee in the specified date range. In our example, you will see that the timesheet we just added in the last part of the tutorial is not verified.
There are two ways to verify the one timesheet. As you see above, you can click on the one timesheet and click the Verify Timesheet button. Alternatively, if all of the timesheets look good, you can verify all timesheets at once with the Verify All button.
